An Alter Ego
It was summer of the year 2007 when I found someone whom I consider as my alter ego our somewhat like that. He is a friend of mine whom I met because of my cousin.
We were completely strangers and we don't know each other since we aren't that popular in school. In February 2007 my cousin was looking for a prom date and later found someone and as I was asking her I reacted that her prom date was some kind of familiar to me. I verified and to my surprise I was right all the time. I can notice him, my cousin's prom date, but he vice versa isn't right. I can see him together with his two other friends in the upper floor, 4th floor to be precise. There was this one time when I went upstairs and I was really mad and I was frowning and to my surprise I saw them three. I was thankful that they don't know me so I continued walking up to the faculty room. There room was actually next to the 3rd year faculty room.
One afternoon while I was going home or rather waiting for a jeepney to pass by I saw them and I was shocked that we rode the same vehicle. I can hear them betting about WikiMapia and they were talking about the clouds above the houses there. They bet 50 pesos to whoever might win. The vehicle was moving until I was almost at my destination his friend went down the jeepney and later I was the next one.
We finished 3rd year and my cousin and his prom date's friend was still communicating. At first I really want to try to chat with him cause I know he has a kind personality and I have a feeling that we are going to get along together. My cousin told me that we have almost the same voice because they were calling each other in Yahoo! Messenger.
It was this night that we first communicated. I can't recall the exact date but this is what happened. My other cousin and I were playing Audition in their computer and her sister forgot to sign out her YM so others have an idea that she was still awoke but the truth is she isn't. I was the one who was playing and there was this time that we are in the point of winning and it was really hard.! But I was really angry when someone BUZZED! The Audition immediately closed and I found out that it was her friend. He asked on why was my cousin still awake at that time. I explained that it wasn't her who was using the computer but us. He replied Ah. ok. Because I was really angry, I told him: You know we were on the point of winning and you buzz it!. He replied and we chatted with him. At the end of our conversation he asked for some testimonial in friendster, apparently we aren't friends yet so he invited me and we went to sleep afterwards.
There was one day when my cousin asked me if I have any installer of Macromedia Fireworks. I told her yes I have and questioned her why. She told me that her friend is going to borrow it cause he needs something in the installer. I told her OK. Later that day she told me that she only needs a serial key so I told her I'm going to give it to you later.
Days passed but she didn't update me so I forgot it. It was Sunday, April 8, 2007 when suddenly while I was chatting in Yahoo! Messenger, someone was inviting me and is waiting for my approval. I accepted the invitation and I was astounded when I learned that it was my cousin's friend. We chatted but at first he insulted me and my picture in YM so I became greedy and really make him suffer and wait before I could give him what he needs. Unfortunately, he wasn't successful in installing the software. So I told him.. NO HOPE. He accepted it and left. It was, I think, 9 when we started chatting and we ended at 1. We played Chess, Word Racer and all the games in YM. I told him that I need to go because I'm going to watch That's So Raven in Disney Channel he replied OK and we bid goodbye to each other. I interrupted quickly I told him that there is a wonderful movie going to be featured at that time. He said just text me about it and he gave me his number. I was unlimited at that moment so I immediately texted him. He replied: "Unli ang gagu. w8 ah." then he subscribed to Unlimited.
At that night or should I say that morning, we texted and I wasn't able to sleep properly or what I can recall I wasn't able to sleep. I enjoyed texting with him. He opened up with me and I did too. We were like related or something because I found a lot of similarities between us.
Days past by and up to now we were still friends but lately he is becoming cold towards me. I don't know why but I can't blame him. Maybe it's something I did in the past or anything? I don't know. He shared a lot of secrets to me and I too. We trust each other.
I can remember one thing I cannot forget about him. I returned the load he gave me. I can't remember what's the reason behind that but it made him sad. I felt guilty so I asked for forgiveness the next day.
I hope that we will still be friends in the next years to come! I will cherish the moments we have along with my cousin! He is somewhat my Alter Ego!
